So… my progress today has been nothing. 

I went to ridiculously ugly shoe stores with my mom to pick out walking shoes for Paris and walking to class (apparently my school is a 30 minute walk away, yay physical activity!). Anywho. Lesson of the day: All. Walking. Shoes. Are. Ugly. Take my word for it. I did leave with a pair of KICKIN’ red trainers. They will suffice! I also attempted to find some warm fall clothes but the mall failed and every store only had summer tops! -__-

I talked to some awesome people who will also be au pairing in France. I’m psyched to meet them! Today we talked about La Blogotheque, drinking cheap wine in front of the Eiffel Tower, and German insults. THEY SOUND SO AWESOME. If you’re ever looking to be an au pair in paris/france you should check out the facebook group. There’s girls (and boys!) from all over and they’re some of the coolest people I have ever met!) We’re having a picnic soon :3 And even if you aren’t au pairing in paris, I’m sure they might have a facebook group for your city too!

This evening, I tried to pack more/pack more efficiently before retiring to my room but I got way too frustrated. I ran out of room in my suitcase and I still have gifts for the family/my summer clothes to pack. Je ne l’aime pas.
