I’ll start with pictures from today first. I still don’t have a cable for my camera, so these are pictures that other people took. Enjoy!

Hanging out on Le Pont des Arts! This is the third time I’ve gone this week! It’s my favorite spot in Paris so far. You can see the top of the Eiffel Tower to the left!

I’m blurry because I’m laughing a lot, Romney was trying to climb into this huge basin/piece of artwork at the Louvre. It was hilarious and I’m glad we didn’t get in trouble! (People who work at the Louvre need to pay closer attention….)

These pictures are all from today, the night before this is the most eventful night of my life so far. We met up with 3 other au pairs (who were all older than us!) to have drinks at some overpriced bar. Then we moved to an Irish pub and the bartenders gave us free drinks while we talked to two pilots from England! We stayed at the pub until it closed at 2ish, and then took a cab to somewhere… I don’t remember, I didn’t give the directions! Then we tried to sneak into an Australian bar called Cafe Oz but we failed, they were full and they pushed us away. After that, the two bartenders from the pub met up with us and managed to get us into a different club. The rest of the right was a blur but it ended with us leaving Paris around 6 am, and getting back to my friend’s apartment/house to sleep for 2 hours and then get back into Paris for the Au Pair picnic! Also, he fell asleep on the metro and we missed our stop because he wouldn’t wake up. PUTAIN. Of course, my stories are actually more epic than they seem. But you get the jist of it.

Tomorrow is my first day of work! Wish me luck :)
